There are many electronic Bible readers on the Net, but BibleMax is one of the most complete I've used. The core software contains the King James version of the Bible, as well as several references and commentaries. It also has powerful search capabilities. You only need to enter the word or phrase you are looking for and hit the Enter key on your keyboard. The results will appear on the main panel of the program. It also has an advanced search option, which lets you set some parameters like All words, Any words, or Phrase, as well as setting the interval of books in which you want to perform your search; i.e. All the Bible, Old Testament only or New Testament only. Also, for more precision, you can set a specific book or books to search, for example, from Genesis to Exodus only.
As with all previous versions, you can enhance your BibleMax program by downloading and installing different Bible versions, as well as commentaries and reference materials. Many of these are free and you can download them from the developer's site. Others can only be obtained by ordering the free CD-ROM containing dozens of different modules.
The novelty in this version is that its main interface features a link that opens the program's Facebook site. It also features links to the iPad/Phone and Android versions of the program so you can download and use them on compatible smartphones and other devices. The disadvantage is that those links open an Internet Explorer window, and this can be annoying if you are using another web browser.
